Master Call Maintenance only comes with Cabrillo Tools package.
Master Call Maintenance was designed mainly for log checkers or those who check contest logs. An official log checker can create a master file of call signs from logs received during the specific contest they are checking.
However, MasterCall can assist individual contesters as well. They can also create Master Call files from old and new logs taken from logging programs such as WriteLog, CT, NA, TR, RTTY by WF1B, OH2GI-Ham System, RCKRtty Ham Program. The logs must be converted to Cabrillo format first. The callsigns can be extracted be merged together for a master call sign checking file for use in a contest.
Also, as an individual contester, you can combine as many super check partial databases (master call files) from the web as you desire. Merged together, they can make a very large master call file for the contest you want to participate in.
MasterCall will load master call sign files from CT, Writelog, TRMaster, WF1B, and Cabrillo Log Checker. MasterCall will generage a super check partial call sign file compatible with WF1B, Writelog, and Cabrillo Log Checker. After each contest you can add all new call signs from the contest you just participated in, making your old Master.Cal or Master.dta file a new file by adding the new calls from the contest you just participated in.
Below is a screen shot of MasterCall after you have installed Cabrillo Tools, and run the MasterCall program.
Most everyone has a Master.cal or Master.dta file they are now using.
If your adding to you old file you will need to load your old Master.cal file. Select "File" on the menu bar, then select "Load Master Call File. "

Once your Master file is loaded you will see a count at the bottom right of Master Call window with the count Since everything was loaded from a master call sign file, the "Checked" and "Total" will be the same. ( See Below)

In this shot it’s load the new log with only new calls not already in your master.cal or .dta file. In this example there are 18388 call signs in the master.cal or .dta. file.
Here you can see you have 18490. By loading in the contest log, 102 new calls were added to the Master.cal or .dta file for the next contest. To save this file click "File", "Save Checked As"
You can name it the same name. You can change it to anything you want. In this example we will leave it as the same name.
When it’s finished, it's all done. You now have a new updated master file using the same name and ready for the next contest. You can make different files for CW/SSB/RTTY/PSK31/UHF/VHF modes if you wish.
